Grace H. Johns

          Grace H. Johns, Scranton, died Thursday night in the Burlington Woods Manor after an illness. She was the widow of Frank Johns who passed away in 2002. The couple had been married 63 years.
            Born in Allentown, She was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Christ Helriegel. She was a graduate of the Scranton Central High School and the West Side Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the Myrtle Street United Methodist Church and its Women’s Society and also the S. Easton Bible Church, Hainesport, NJ. Prior to retirement she had been employed by the West Side Hospital and in OBGYN in private duty nursing.
            She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She spent her life doing for and helping her family, church members and others in her neighborhood.
            Surviving are a daughter Frances Lindaberry and her husband Bob of Burlington, NJ; five grandchildren; great grandchildren.
            Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 20th at 3:30pm in the Myrtle Street United Methodist Church corner of Myrtle St and Harrison Ave. Scranton.
            Friends may call Sunday from 2 until time of service at the church.
            Interment, Abington Hills Cemetery.
