Richard Parth died Monday in the Regional Hospital of Scranton.
Born in New York, son of the late Bruno and Julia Staehle Parth, he was a former resident of the Poconos. For the past two years, he was a resident of the Gino Merli Veterans Center, Scranton. He had been employed by Cramer Lumber Co. for many years. He was an Army veteran.
Surviving are two sisters, Patricia Johnson, Allentown; and Evelyn Isst, Redland, Calif.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Vanston and James Funeral Home, 1401 Ash St., Scranton.
