Charlotte DePew, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died early Friday morning in the Commonwealth Hospice Inpatient Unit at the Regional Hospital of Scranton after an illness.
She was born in Scranton and was educated in its schools. Prior to retirement she had been employed by Schott Opitcal where she had been employed as a glass cutter but primarely as an inspector.
Survivng are a nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings.
As per Charlotte’s request there will be no viewing or funeral service.
