John H. Caines, Jr.

               John H. Caines, Jr., Olyphant, died late Saturday night after a long illness in the Hospice Community Care Inpatient Unit.

            He was born 1940 in Olyphant and was the son of the late John H. and Margaret Caines, Sr.  He was educated in local schools and had worked for the Dupont Company as an electrical engineer before going into business for himself as an exterminator.  He was a proud United States Armed Forces veteran.

            In addition to a multitude of friends and family surviving is John’s sister Grace Thorpe of New Jersey.

            There will be no public viewing.

    I am very sorry to see that John has passed away. I know that he was sick for a long time, but he tried so hard to fight all his illnesses & drawbacks. He was such a nice man & I hope that he can now rest in peace & my thoughts go out to all his friends & family.
