My sincere sympathies are extended to Walter’s family. I worked with Walter for 15 years at Glenburn Township and he always did his due diligence. He was a pleasure to talk to and had many good stories to tell. He also helped my son with his Citizenship badge for scouts. We will miss him at the Township and I will miss chatting with him. My prayers go out to all of his friends and loved ones. Unfortunately I can’t make the service on Saturday but I will be there in spirit. May God Bless, Joanne

I am so sorry Walter has moved on. For all his family members, please accept my sincere condolences. Walter served La Plume Township for many, many years and I considered him my good friend. We had such wonderful conversations, not only about Township issues but about life and all its challenges. He was always there to help and encourage and had an endless amount of dignity and distinction. Truly, a noble man. I will miss him and his pith helmet and his good works. Bon Voyage, Walter.
