I have known Jerry for 40 years. We first met in Scranton and then both of us lived in Ft. Lauderdale. He was a very sweet guy with a smile that could light up a house. He always treated me with kindness and respect. Anyone that knew Jerry didn’t have a bad word to say about him. I will always remember that big, beautiful smile that I have always associated with him. Loved you Jerry. I hope you’re now at peace.

My heart breaks for Jerry and his family. We were friends in high school and I’ll always remember him as my date for a sorority dance. Looking at that picture of us from 1971 brings back such nice memories. His smile was contagious. Jerry was a gentleman and a super guy. Keep smiling Jerry and watch over all your friends. Peace.

As I read through the comments, I was not surprised to see everything printed was from women – Jerry was quite the ladies’ man. Yes he did have an infectious smile and zeal for life. HIs death may have been tragic, but his life was anything but! Jerry may have been my cousin, but more importantly, he was my friend. A friend that will be dearly missed. I love you my friend and till we meet again – enjoy the party!
