Marie Cipriani

Marie Cipriani, Petersburg Section of Scranton, died Tuesday morning in the Geisinger Community Medical Center after an illness.
Born in Italy in 1922, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Philomena Iuni Cipriani. She was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and upon completion of her education she went on to work as a seamstress in the garment industry. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.
Surviving are a sister Toni Santoli; nieces Linda Santoli and Nanci Dobson; seven great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a niece Toni Miller.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10am in the Immaculate Conception Church 801 Taylor Ave. Scranton by Rev. Joseph F. Cipriano, her cousin.
Friends may call Thursday morning from 9am until time of Mass at the church.
Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
