Helen M. LeBahn

 Helen M. LeBahn, Dunmore, Pa., died Thursday at the Gardens of Green Ridge after celebrating her 100th birthday in January.  She was the widow of William H. Roever who died in 1959  and John F. H. LeBahn who  died in 1995. 

Born in Scranton she was the daughter of the late Fred and Margaret Volz.  She was an accomplished pianist and church organist in several local churches.  She was a member of Dunmore United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son Henry W. Roever and wife Paula, Moosic;  grandchildren William H. Roever and wife Jennifer, Moosic, Amy R. Grasser and Husband Mark, Richmond, Virginia, Holly R. Carron and husband Eric, Moosic;  six great grandchildren;  four step grandchildren;  two brothers John Volz, West Virginia and William Volz Allentown, Pa.;  several nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by two sisters Ruth Bocchino, Peggy Case and one brother Fred Volz.

Friends may call Tuesday from 3:30PM  until 4:30PM in the Vanston and James Funeral Home 1401 Ash Street, Scranton.  

Funeral services and interment at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Center 2010 Adams Avenue, Scranton,Pa. or donors favorite charity.

    A truly lovely woman has left us. She could brighten up your day with a smile and the twinkle in her eyes. Godspeed Helen, your absence will be sadly noted but we know you’ve gone on to better things.
