Wilhelm “Wil” Biemuller

Wilhelm “Wil” Biemuller, West Scranton, died Tuesday afternoon in the Golden Living Center, Scranton, after an illness.  His wife of 56 years is the former Arlene Hughes.

Born in Frankfurt, Germany he was the son of the late Heinrich and Elizabeth Rodinger Biemuller.   He was of the protestant faith.  Prior to his retirement, he had been a self-employed painter and wallpaperer.

He enjoyed bowling, golfing, woodworking, cooking and gardening.   He was always there for his family and friends.  He will be missed by his cats Roxy and Henry and his pitbull friend Matilda.

Also surviving are sisters Irmgard Adamo of Scranton, Inge Nauheim, Annelise Winters and Christa Weinberg all of Frankfurt; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sisters Eleanor Steinhilber and Annelore Falk; a brother Heinz Biemuller.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11am in the Vanston and James Funeral Home 1401 Ash St. Scranton by Rev. Arthur Davis.

Friends may call Friday morning from 9am until time of service.

Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter 967 Griffin Pond Rd. South Abington Twp., PA 18411.

    Love and prayers. So many great memories…playing soccer and teaching me how to pull on my opponents shorts, open sesamee, pizza at your house, candies in the bottom drawer of the fridge, worksites with you…you were a loved and will be missed by us all. Love you Uncle Wil
