Marie Gaul, 82, Scranton, passed away May 29th in the Geisinger Community Medical Center after being stricken ill.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Marie Gaul. She was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Parish, West Scranton. Prior to her retirement she had been employed as a telemetry technician at the Moses Taylor Hospital.
Marie was a loving and caring mother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed.
Also surviving are her daughter Cindy Gaul; her brother Francis Gaul and his wife Patricia; a great niece Shannon Murray; nieces and nephews Tim and Sandy Gaul and Donna and Kevin Gillette; friends Janice Swoyer and JoAnne Diebert; eight additional great nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by brothers Donald and William Gaul.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10am in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, 1605 Oram St., West Scranton.
Interment, St. John’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family encourages memorial contributions be made in Marie’s honor to the donor’s favorite charity.
