Harold R. “Buster” Benner

Harold R. (Buster) Benner, a resident of St. Joseph’s Center, died November 29th at the Center.

 

Born on February 9, 1977 in Flemington NJ he was the son of Harold R. and Lu Ann Benner.

 

Buster has lived at St. Joseph’s Center since he was 9 years old.  He had a wonderful life filled with family and friends.

 

He is also survived by his sister Lori Ann Benne and her children Christopher and Jesse Lee Benner and the staff of St. Joseph’s Center.

 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold L. and Arlene Benner and Joseph G. Miller and Jean Miller Deces.

 

A celebration of Buster’s life will be held Sunday, December 16th at 11:30am in the Chapel at St. Joseph’s Center.

 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Joseph’s Center 2010 Adams Ave. Scranton, PA 18509.

    I had the pleasure of working with Buster for 22 years, his personality and smile we’re infectious, he knew how to light up a room, he brought joy to my heart everyday, even when he was sick he still smiled, Buster, definitely a beautiful angel that our lord put in my path, rest easy Happy Harry Buster Benner no more struggles or pain, RIP prayers for all who are grieving such a beautiful person

    Mom , Dad , Lori and Family, my deepest condolences to All of you. Your Buster is missed GREATLY ,by all the lives he touched. ..pretty much Every single Person who had the Honor of meeting him. He Always had a Smile ..or a laugh..actually Contagious . Your Son/Brother made Our daily lives so much Better just by him being him..He loved EVERYONE and Everyone Loved him ♡Thank You for choosing and sharing him with all of Us ♡ I had the privilege of knowing him since his arrival to SJC.     I had a chance to meet Buster within the hallways of St. Joe’s Center. I do housekeeping in the day shift and he would always have a smile on his face. We will miss you Buster.
