I was so sorry to hear of the death of Lillian Mackin. As an Air Force veteran myself, I had met her at the teas I sponsored at Gino Merli to honor women veterans. I enjoyed talking to her. I will continue in my efforts to have her military service, and the service of all of the women veterans there, remembered and honored at the Womens Memorial in Washington, DC. My deepest sympathy to her family for their loss. I wish I could attend her funeral to honor her, but that is not possible in these times.
