Margaret Mulligan of Scranton died Monday morning at VNA Hospice at Community Medical Center after an illness.
Born December 4, 1919 in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Matthew H. and Marie Messmer Mulligan. She attended both the St John the Baptist Church and Our Lady of Ocean Church both in New Jersey. She had been employed by the Serval Box Company in North Brunswick for 34 years and for the Bristol Myers Squibb Company until her retirement in 1985. She was a very active member of the Bristol Myers Squibb Retiree’s Activity Club.
Surviving are a sister in law Thelma K. Mulligan of The Villages, Fl; a niece Lynda Lynett and her husband Edward of Clarks Summit; nephews Robert J. Mulligan, Jr and his wife Carol of Titusville, Fl and Gregory E. Mulligan of Largo, Fl.; a cousin Margaret Werner Isak of New Brunswick, NJ and other members of the Isak and Mott families; nine great nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by brothers Robert J and Matthew H Mulligan; a cousin Lorraine Mott.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at Noon in the Our Lady of Peace Church Route 130 North Brunswick.
Friends may call Thursday from 11am until time of Mass at the church.
Interment, St Peter the Apostle Cemetery New Brunswick, NJ.
