Jacinto Juarez, 21, a resident of a community home of St. Joseph’s Center, died Sunday night in Community Medical Center.
Born in Mexico, son of Leticia Martinez Herrera and Jacinto Juarez Flores, he was a recent graduate of the NEIU and attended the St. Joseph’s Center’s Adult Day Services program.
He never gave up, even in the end. His smile was all he needed to show us he cared about us. The family is very thankful for all the people who were part of his life. The staff at St. Joseph’s Center, we all owe our thanks to you. You gave him a better quality of life. Also surviving are two sisters, Viridiana and Antonia Juarez.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Parish of St. John Neumann Lower Church, 633 Orchard St., Scranton. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of Mass, at the church. Arrangements by the Vanston and James Funeral Home, 1401 Ash St., Scranton.
