William P. Price

William P. Price, South Scranton, died early Friday morning at home after an illness. His wife of 38 years is the former Lynn Kalaus.
 
Born in Uniondale, he was the son of the late Paul W. and Helen Pickering Price. He was a graduate of the Forest City Regional High School. He had been employed by PennDOT and later employed by Aqua Leisure Pool and Spa for more than 20 years. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
 
The family would like to thank Dr. Martin Hyzinski and his staff along with Cherrie Bentler and the nurses of Southern Care Hospice for their dedicated and compassionate care.

Also surviving are his children Ryan Price and his wife Nicole of West Virginia, Bridget Matyjevich of Scranton, Shane Price and his wife Gerilynn of Scranton, Kyle Price and his wife Lilli of Old Forge, Colin Price and his fiance Ginny Davidowski of Downingtown, and Caitlin Price and her companion Brian Tonkin of Scranton; a brother Lewis Price of Uniondale; sisters Gwendolyn Bomysoad of Binghamton and Julia Rude of Pleasant Mount; grandchildren Ethan and Abby Price, Noah and Olivia Matyjevich, Zachary Price, Emma and Liam Price and Caleb Tonkin.
 
He was preceded in death by two brothers Raymond and Clarence Price; two sisters Bernice Butler and Ila Williams.
 
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 28th, at 9:30am in the St John Neumann Parish at the Nativity of Our Lord Church 633 Orchard St. Scranton.
 
Friends may call Friday morning at the church from 9am until the time of the Mass.
