Giuseppina "Josephine" Bartolini

Giuseppina "Josephine" Bartolini of Scranton died Wednesday morning at the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania. Her husband was the late Primo Bartolini who passed away in 2003.
Born in Annifo, Italy, daughter of the late Amadeo and Giuseppina Pagliarini, she was a member of St. Ann’s Basilica Parish. Prior to retirement she had been employed as a seamstress.
Surviving are a son Adam and a daughter Nancy James both of Scranton; grandsons Christopher James and his wife Erin, Brian and his wife Katie all of Scranton, and Mark and his wife Brooke of Lake Ariel; great-grandchildren Brian, Jr., Edward, Patrick, Grace, Annie and Margaret.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania for their compassionate care.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00am in St. Ann’s Basilica 1233 St. Ann’s St. Scranton.
Arrangements by Vanston & James Funeral Home 1401 Ash St. Scranton.
Interment, St. Francis Cemetery, Eynon.
