Sorry to hear about Mom. She was a wonderful woman who always smiled. Always called her (Aunt) Irene and considered her our family. She’s up in heaven now with Darby, Kitty and Squirrely. God Bless everyone.

My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your Mom. Some of my fondest memories are the Dench’s Walsh’s and Mellows getting together at Newton Lake, Mom’s Sunday “rounds,” and picnics under the Apple Tree.

Aunt Irene was a wonderful Lady. We trust in the Lord, that through her faith, she rests in heaven along with Uncle Jerome and all our parents.

My deepest sympathies on the loss of your Mom. I can hear her laughter as if it were minutes ago. She was a dear person who treated my so wonderfully especially during our childhood years as did Uncle Jerome. My prayers are with her and her family.

To Darby, Patty, Reny, Sharon, Michael,

I’m sure your mom Irene’s passing was a blessing, and I share in your sorrow.

I guess the only ones left of that “good old gang” are Rose Poklemba and my dad, Bob Cooper. Both are also 91 years old this year.

I remember all the fun times we had growing up in Olyphant. My dad tells me stories now of their high school escapades and I wish I had known that group of friends back then. The knew how to have fun and get in trouble!

    With our sympathy,
    Sincerely,
Denise (Neese)Cooper Larson, and my siblings Bobby (deceased), Nancy, Beth, Pat, and our dad Bob.
P.S. If I remember correctly your mom and mine, Helen Bishop Cooper (died 2009) were best of friends in high school. I think they were in competition for valedictorian, too. They remained in touch until my mom died.
