MY CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF BARB MCLEAN, YOU ARE IN MY THOUGHTS, AND PRAYERS. MAY THE LORD GRANT YOU STRENGTH, AND GIVE YOU PEACE. I KNOW WHAT IT IS LIKE TO LOSE YOUR PARENTS. LIVING ACROSS WILLIAM STREET,FROM YOUR MOM AND DAD FOR YEARS,I HAVE MANY MEMORIES OF THEM. BARB AND HAROLD,SITTING ON THE PORCH OF THE HOUSE. LAUGHING AND TALKING TO EVERYONE WHO PASSED BY. AND MICKEY THE CAT, NEAR BY. YOUR MOM WAS A GREAT LADY, SHE HAD GREAT SPIRIT,AND WAS LIKE HER FAVORITE COLLEGE FOOTBALL TEAM NOTRE DAME- THE FIGHTING IRISH. SHE ALSO HAD A BIG HEART,AND CARED ABOUT HER FRIENDS,NEIGHBORS,AND FAMILY ALOT. YOUR MOM AND DAD AND I, WOULD TALK ALOT ABOUT EVERYTHING. MOSTLY FOOTBALL, HE BEING A PATRIOTS FAN, YOUR MOM THE BROWNS FAN, AND ME THE STEELERS FAN. SO IT WAS A LIVELY CONVERSATION, TO SAY THE LEAST. I WILL MISS YOUR MOM ALOT, ALWAYS SAW HER ON THE PORCH,EVERYDAY OR EVERY OTHER DAY I WOULD TALK TO HER. ALSO MISS YOUR DAD, THEY WERE GOOD PEOPLE, STRONG AND TOUGH.BOTH BEEN THROUGH ALOT IN LIFE. ALL OF US,ON WILLIAM STREET, WILL MISS THEM VERY MUCH. WE ARE HEARTBROKEN, I KNOW THEY ARE TOGETHER, AND WITH GOD. YOUR MOM WAS LIKE THE QUEEN OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD. SO IN THE IRISH WAKE TRADITION, HAVE A DRINK IN MEMORY OF YOUR MOM. SHE WOULD OF WANTED IT THAT WAY. MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU. WITH SYMPATHY, BILL LOVELAND.

My Aunt Barbara was a beautiful, loving, and caring woman. Regretfully my mother (her sister Geraldine) passed away 27 years ago and although I still got to know and love my Aunt Barbara, I feel like I missed a lot more time that I could have spent with her. But nothing can or will change the fact that she was one of the most wonderful women to enter my life and I will miss her dearly. I hope the rest of our family can find a tiny bit of peace knowing she is in a better place with Uncle Harold and my mother.

I worked with Barbara at the Post Office, we were casuals together.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
Barb had such a great laugh, quick wit. We had many, many great laughs because of her.
She also had a great spirit about her, when she was down you wouldn’t know it.
    I will remember her fondly.
