Alfreda W. Karpowicz, formerly of Clarks Summit and New Jersey, died early Wednesday morning in the Abington Manor after an illness. She was the widow of Alex Karpowicz.
She was born April 8, 1917 in Trenton, New Jersey and was the daughter of the late Alexander and Sophie Wisnieski Kryspin. She was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are sons Dr. Alex Karpowicz and his wife Christina of Clarks Summit and James Karpowicz and his wife Mary of Jacksonville, Fl; grandchildren Brandie Peterson, Dr. Denise, Alex F., Deborah L. and Connor Karpowicz; Lori Ann Youngblood and Tina Marie Cocchini; eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services and interment will be held private at the convenience of the family.
