Alice M. Hartwick, Greenridge section of Scranton, died Monday in the Commonwealth Hospice Inpatient Unit at Regional Hospital after an illness.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Beatrice Muldowney Hartwick.  She was a graduate of the former St Paul’s High School and was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.   Prior to retirement she had been employed for 23 years for the former A&P Supermarkets and retired from the Tobyhanna Army Depot where she worked as a secretary.   She was also a member of the Catholic Woman’s Club and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Surviving is a cousin John McKinnon of Scranton.

She was preceded in death by a sister Catherine Hartwick.

A blessing service will be held Friday at 9:30am in the Vanston and James Funeral Home 1401 Ash St Scranton.

Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
