Elizabeth “Betty” Koelsch

Elizabeth “Betty” Koelsch, formerly of Scranton, a resident of Greenville, SC where she had lived with her son and daughter in law for over seven years went to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 23. She was the widow of Joseph Michael Koelsch.
Mrs. Koelsch was the daughter of the late Fred and Bessie Crump Capwell. She was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church in Clarks Summit. Elizabeth was a faithful, loving wife and mother. Her godly influence will live on in the lives of the many people who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son Charles F. Koelsch and her daughter in law, Verta Yates Koelsch both of Greenville, SC; two sisters Mildred Steckiel of Canton and Marion Davis of Scranton; grandson Stephen C. Koelsch and his wife Kristin of Winston-Salem, NC and their children Jane and Matthew; granddaughter Deanna Joy Burnette and her husband James of Greenville, SC and their children Yates and Larsen; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
One of several children, she was preceded in death by a sister Elinor Lentes and three brothers George, William and Fred Capwell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11am in the Heritage Baptist Church, 415 Venard Rd. Clarks Summit.
Friends may call Saturday morning from 10am until time of service at the church.
There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.
Interment, Clarks Green Cemetery.
