Anna Kloss, Petersburg section of Scranton, died Sunday in the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania after an illness.   Her husband is Ralph Kloss.  The couple had been married for 70 years.

Born in Moosic, PA in 1921, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Maria Pfahler Brown.  She was a 1938 graduate of the former Scranton Technical High School.  She was of the Protestant faith and a member of the former Faith Community Church of Glenburn.  Prior to her retirement, she and her husband owned and operated Henrich’s Bakery.

Also surviving are a daughter Annette Kloss McAndrew of Dunmore; a son Richard Kloss of Palm Harbor, Florida.

She was preceded in death by two sisters Lillian Brown and Gladys Baumann.

A memorial service will be held at a future date in the Vanston and James Funeral Home 1401 Ash St. Scranton.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Center  2100 Adams Ave. Scranton, PA 18509
