Barbara McGinley Guse

Barbara McGinley Guse, Endwell, NY, formerly of Scranton, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday. Her loving husband of 33 years is Robert Guse.
Born on December 13, 1958 at Travis AFB in Solano County California she was the daughter of the late Audrey Onofrey Rosselli and the late Lawrence P. McGinley, both of Scranton. Later, she was also the step-daughter to their spouses Nicholas Rosselli of Scranton and Mary Walsh McGinley of Scranton. Barbara was a 1976 graduate of Bishop Hannan High School. She had been employed by the medical offices of Dr. Orest Wasyliw in Johnson City, NY for more that 22 years before retiring in 2006.
Barbara and her husband became another of several “Guild” couples when they met at the Diocesan Guild Studios in Scranton and were best friends for 38 years. She loved her family and close friends, but she was most proud of her children, Graham and Lauren, for all they had accomplished and for what they had become.
Barbara is survived by her son Graham Guse of Charlotte, NC; her daughter Lauren Guse Tuttle and her husband Nathan of Deposit, NY; a sister Nadine McGinley of Taylor, Pa.; her father and mother in law Robert and Ellen Guse of Roaring Brook Twp., Pa; aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces; nephews; brother in law; sisters in law.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday December 23, 2013 at 10:30am in the Immaculate Conception Church 801 Taylor Ave. Scranton.
Friends may call Monday morning from 9:30am until time of Mass at the church.
Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
