Angeline DeSanto, of Taylor formerly of the Bunker Hill section of Scranton, passed away early Saturday morning after an illness.
Born December 23, 1916, in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Philomena Santoli DeSanto. She was of the Catholic faith. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a dress maker at the former DIC Manufacturing Company.
Angeline was an expert seamtress along with being an avid crocheter. She loved her family dearly as they loved her.
Surviving are Ann Marie Martin and son Aaron with whom she resided; George Pettinato and his wife Sandra along with their children Nicole and George; also several nieces and nephews.
Angeline was preceded in death by her sister Ida Pettinato and brother in law George; brothers Anthony, Fred, Joseph, Frank, Domenic, and John.
Family and friends attending the Mass are asked to go directly to the church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10am in the Immaculate Conception Church 801 Taylor Ave. Scranton by Rev. Joseph Sica.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4-6pm in the Vanston and James Funeral Home 1401 Ash St. Scranton.
