You were a wonderful positive Aunt that guided me through several difficult times, I will always remember you for that and many whimpie sandwiches you made for Jason and me when we would visit on James Ave. I always admired your happy content and relaxed feeling when you were making major changes in your life and how you dealt with it, you will be a role model for me forever, love you Auntie Sue and I will surely miss our many conversations about life. watch over us in heaven and take care of my Mom up there…

We were so saddened when Sister Kathleen called to tell us the news of Sue’s passing. Since Dad arrived at Holy Family in 2006, Sue and others were so kind and sweet to us, we felt as if they were our new extended family. Every time, Sue would greet us with her smile and twinkling eyes, and regardless of her mood or condition, she was gracious and welcoming, always wanting to know how we were, how we were feeling and how we were doing. Whether just by giving a hello and wave, or taking a few minutes to chat, every visit with Sue was a gift to be cherished. She was and will always will be a truly dear friend, and our days and lives are better by having had her presence with us.

My heart is sadden that you have gone, All I can say is, when I lost my grandma, you became my grandma, when I lost my mom, you became my mom. I’m so blessed that I could have an Aunt that could take on all those roles. It must be exciting for you to meet up with Uncle Harry after all these years. I bet his Spiritual heart skipped a beat when you appeared. I will miss you physically, but I will hold on to that special love you always gave!

Whenever I was with you, Auntie Sue, I was home in a comforting, peaceful, light-hearted place. No matter what was happening in my life you were able to give me a new perspective and a renewed confidence, (usually with a sense of humor). I don’t know how you did it, but I know that you made me feel as if I was the most important person in your life. What is more awesome is that you did that for so many others. Now that you are with Jesus, I am sure you have heard the best words, “Well done, good and faithful servant” I love you.
