Joseph P. Perry, III,, Scranton died Thursday afternoon in the Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center after an illness.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of Yole A. Bardini Perry of Aston, PA and the late Joseph P. Perry, Jr. He attended Dunmore High School and worked for his family’s business Perry Sanitation. He was a United States Army veteran.
Surviving are a daughter Michelle Perry of Wilmington, DE; a son Patrick J. Perry and his wife Alla and their daughter Mila Anna of Woodbridge, VA; sisters Cynthia Possanza and her husband Louis of Lansdale, Lisa Papageorgiou of Garnet Valley, PA and Kimberly Hollingsworth and her husband Steve of Glen Mills, PA; his former wife Denice DeSanto of Scranton; nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his sister Anna Violanti.
