To Bill’s Family – I played many golf matches with Bill at Elmhurst over the years. One of the nicest guys I’ve ever had the pleasure to be around. A real gentleman. The first time I played with him I knew I had made a life long friend. He will be greatly missed at the “Hurst”. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Bill. God bless.

We will miss Bill, only in this life. It was always enjoyable to be with him. When we lived in Clarks Summit, it was a unplanned treat to often meet Bill when we went to eat at Jim Dandy’s Restaurant in Chinchilla.
He was my Dad’s (coach Frank Johns) key basketball player. Bill often called my Dad coach.
We could easily see what a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend he has always been.

Right now it seems that everything is overwhelming but manageable.Louise, the support pf family and friends will hold you during the ceremony. My love and prayers are extended to you for courage during the quiet moments when you are home alone when the memories come. I pray that you are emboldened by the thoughts of love from your husband. He loved you and that was so clear in his actions towards you. The way he held your elbow when you went up the stairs; the look he gave you when he said your name. The way you joked with each other- your love is apparent to those in your presence. For that you are blessed always.

    Dear Louise and family,
I enjoyed being with Bill at lodge; he was a great guy and we always got along so well. I’m sorry I’m not able to pay my respects in person, but I had surgery recently and have been laid up at home. Please know that you’re in my thoughts and prayers.
