Many people say there is nothing like a mothers love and it’s true. Elsie was a wonderful person whom shown love and compassion to everyone and held faith in the lord until the end. She was caring and beautiful inside and out. She loved life, her family and her friends. With a real zest for life she loves to dance, paint, play cards and crochet. She has been a life long member of Jackson Street Baptist church. She loved to travel and enjoyed life immensely. Her happiness was being surrounded with the love of her family and being together, hosting and entertaining. Family and friends were her passion and delight.
The family wishes to thank all those whom have cared for her in her toughest times throughout the years. She had been blessed being a heart transplant recipient since December 11, 1990, which gave her 25 bonus years and quality of life with those around her.
She has given so much inspiration to many and was a miraculous woman.
