Patricia G. Skurnowicz, of Scranton, formerly of Gouldsboro, died Tuesday. She was the widow of Boleslaw A. Skurnowicz who died in 2001.
Born in Buffalo, NY she was the daughter of the late Robert and Edna Casey Graves. She was a graduate of Scranton Central High School. During World War II she worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, DC. She was among the earliest employees at the Tobyhanna Army Depot. Patricia was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Surviving are a son Stephen and his wife Denise of Lenoxville; a son in law David Prosick of Frackville, grandchildren Robert, Suzanne, and Mary Skurnowicz, Andrew, Daniel, and Casey Prosick, nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter Ellen Skurnowicz Prosick and her sister Ann Graves Youorski.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10am in the Immaculate Conception Church 801 Taylor Ave. Scranton. All attending the funeral are asked to go directly to the church.
Friends may call Thursday from 5-7pm in the Vanston and James Funeral Home 1401 Ash St. Scranton
