Eleanor Nicholson, West Scranton, died Sunday evening in the Scranton Healthcare Center after an illness. She was the widow of Robert Morhing and Robert Nicholson.
Born in 1919 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sadie Key Griffiths. She was a member of the 1939 class of Scranton Technical High School. She was a member of the Trinity Congregational Church, West Scranton. Prior to her retirement, Eleanor worked for 41 years at Haddon Craftsmen as a book binder.
She was preceded in death by brothers John and Harold Griffiths.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10am in the Vanston and James Funeral home 1401 Ash St. Scranton with services by Rev. Jeremy Mullen.
Friends may call Friday morning from 9am until time of service.
Interment, Washburn Street Cemetery.
