Dwayne R. Lutz

Dwayne R. Lutz, Olyphant, died Thursday afternoon at home after an illness.   His wife is the former Nicole Rusyn.

Born 1963 in Scranton, he was the son of the late Frank R. and Marilyn Carter Lutz.   Prior to his illness Dwayne was employed by Schiff’s, in his own landscaping business, Fairview Memorial Park and finally by Keystone Memorial Vault Company.  

 Dwayne was an avid fisherman who loved the sport very much.   He will be deeply missed.

Also surviving are a son Jeremy Lutz of West Scranton; a daughter Megan Lutz at home;  brothers John and Randy Lutz;  sisters Marlene Badyrka and Dawn Larioni; a granddaughter Isabella Rose Lutz;  father in law Nicholas Rusyn;  sister in laws Lori Ann Lambert and Luane Patelunes; a brother in law Nicholas Rusyn, Jr.; nieces and nephews.

 He was also preceded in death by brothers Frank and Darren Lutz.

 A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 5:30pm in the Vanston and James Funeral Home 1401 Ash St. Scranton with Rev. Dennis Gray officiating.

 Friends may call Wednesday from 3:30pm until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages memorial contributions be made to the family.
