Lillian C. Dixon, formerly of Scranton and Levittown, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday afternoon at home in Benton Twp. after being stricken ill.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late E. Laddie and Mildred Giles Owen. She was a graduate of the West Scranton High School class of 1952 and the Meshimany Evening School for Childcare and Sign Languages in Langhorne, PA. She was a retired school monitor in the Bristol Twp. schools in Levittown.
Surviving are two sons Mark E. of Quakertown and Keith E. of Levittown; a daughter Debra Dixon of Downingtown; two brothers John Donald Owen and his wife Linda with whom she resided and were her caregivers and Dennis R. Owen and his wife Marion of Scranton; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter Kimberly E. Bennett; a brother E. Laddie Owen, Jr.; a sister Mildred Nancy Jordan.
As per Lillian’s wishes there will be no public viewing or service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vanston and James Funeral Home and are under the care and direction of Robert C. Jones, funeral director.
