Edward P. McGraw

 Edward P. McGraw, West Scranton, died early Thursday morning in the Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit after an illness.

Born in Scranton in 1951, Edward was the son of the late James and Grace Pease McGraw.  He was educated in Scranton schools and graduated from Scranton Central High School in 1969. He attended Mercyhurst College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater.   He was a parishioner of and attended Mass at St. Lucy’s Church in West Scranton.  Edward was employed most recently at Walmart in Taylor.  He previously held positions at the Social Security Administration and Diversified Technologies.

He survived by his brother James McGraw, Jr. and his wife Mary of Scranton and brother–in-law, Jack McCormack, of Burlington, Vt.

Edward is predeceased by his brother David McGraw and his wife Mary Langan McGraw, and his sister Grace McGraw McCormack. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30am in St. Lucy’s Church 949 Scranton St. West Scranton.

Friends may call Wednesday morning from 9:30am until time of Mass at the church.

Interment will be at Abington Hills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to St. Lucy’s Church.
