Richard “Dick” Woolsey passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on June 17, 2017. He was born on September 19, 1937 in the Bronx, NY to Frederick and Helen Woolsey.
Richard served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Lake Champlain in 1956-1957. He retired from working as a heating mechanic in NYC in 2000.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Katherine; as well as by his daughters, Elizabeth and her husband, Keith Reinhold and Cynthia and her husband, John Pinter, and his sons, Richard Woolsey and his wife, Sandra, and Peter Woolsey and his wife, Chantal. He also has 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren that he dearly loved.
Richard was an active member of Leptondale Bible Church in NY prior to moving to PA where he became a member of Milford Bible Church. He used his God given singing voice to praise his Lord and Savior at both churches.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 30 at Milford Bible Church, 110 Foxcroft Dr., Milford, PA 18337.
