Karen S. Collins, Scranton, passed away Wednesday in the Wilkes Barre General Hospital after an illness. She was the widow of Randy Collins.
Born 1963 in Scranton she was the daughter of Betty J. Lee of Scranton and the late Benjamin H. Lee. She was educated in Scranton schools and graduated from the Scranton Technical High School. Karen enjoyed helping others and was a volunteer at the Advocacy Alliance in Scranton. She was a member of the Elm Park United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are her loving family including sisters Kimberly J. Lee and Betsy Miller, and her husband Bill; nieces Jill Zayac, Lee Yeomans and her husband Doug and Jane Miller; great nieces and nephews Grace, Xavier and Justus Bronson and Ben Yeomans.
She was also preceded in death by her beloved daughter Karri Lynn Lee on December 7, 2016.
A celebration of Karen’s life will be held Saturday at 3pm in the Elm Park United Methodist Church 712 Linden St. Scranton officiated by Revs. Mike Bealla and Doug Posgate.
Friends may call Saturday from 2pm until time of service.
