Timothy “Timbuk” Keenan

Timothy “Timbuk” Keenan, Dunmore, died Wednesday.  His wife of 15 years is the former Jo Ann Santarsiero.

Born 1960 in Scranton, he was the son of Joseph Keenan and his wife Shirley of Madison Twp and the late Betty Schantz Keenan.  He was a graduate of Dunmore High School.   He had been employed by Hadden Craftsman in the shipping department.

Timbuk enjoyed working on motorcycles and cars.  He especially loved Harley Davidsons, off roading and his dog Diesel.

Also surviving are his daughter Amanda Prendergast of Dunmore; twin sister Patty Theis and husband Joe of Olyphant; grandson Liam Cieciorka, the love of his life, of Dunmore; a niece Chelsea Rock; an uncle; cousins; extended family and friends.

He was also preceded in death by a brother Jerry and a nephew Tyler Rock.

A blessing service will be held Thursday at 6:30pm in the Vanston and James Funeral Home 1401 Ash St. Scranton by Rev. Joseph Sica.

Friends may call Thursday from 4pm until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages memorial contributions be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen 500 Penn Ave. Scranton, PA 18503 or to the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter 967 Griffin Pond Rd. South Abington Township, PA 18411.
