Ed will be greatly missed even by those of us who only knew him briefly. I spent two months with him at Conewago last fall and got to know him quickly on a daily basis. If not for the thoughtful conversations he and I had and his extremely witty sense of humor, my stay there would have been quite difficult. He was very bright and caring. We kept in contact these past couple of months also. I am saddened and both my condolences and prayers are sent to his family. There is no more struggle for him and I will use his memory to bolster my own recovery. Peace to all of you.
