Thomas E. Ashman, 83, died July 16th at home following a long illness.
Born in Scranton he was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine Yankelitis Ashman.
He was a retired over the road Truck Driver after 47 years. He served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne during the Korean conflict. He was a member and Past Master of Hyde Park Lodge # 339 F. & A.M. and a former member of the Keystone Consistory and the Irem Temple Shrine and it’s motor corps.
He was an avid motorcyclist and also with street hot rod groups.
Surviving are a brother Leonard Ashman and 2 nephews; his three best friends Nancy, Bonnie (Sue) and Jack.
He was preceded in death by a brother Joseph and sisters Irene Smith and Loretta Ashman.
It was Tom’s wishes there would be no service and to be cremated.
