Kayla Mae Loveless

Kayla Mae Loveless, 28, of Nicholson,  died Tuesday morning at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, after a courageous battle with aplastic anemia.

Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of Rosanne Loveless and Lucky Bedell. She was a graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School and went on to receive her bachelor degree in business management from Keystone College in LaPlume. She was employed by the Blue Bird Dinner where she worked for 14 years.

Kayla was a very loving and caring person who would help anyone in need of anything. She loved spending times outdoors especially biking, kayaking, hiking, vacationing with her close friends & most important walking her dearest dog daisy.

Also surviving are her siblings Jessica and Kanisha ;  Dakota and Cody ; two brothers in law Nathan and Chris;  3 nephews Coltyn, Anthony and Jackson;  her maternal and paternal grandmothers; many very close aunts and uncles ;  dear friends Marshall , Amanda, Jane , many more of her closest friends &  also her beloved dog Daisy.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandfathers and her Uncle Benjamin.

A celebration of Kayla’s life with be held August 11 2018 at 2pm at the Nicholson Vol. fire co. Fairgrounds, State Street, Nicholson Pa.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Kayla’s name to True Friends Animal Shelter, 16332 St. Route 706, Montrose Pa. 18801.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vanston and James Funeral Home, 1401 Ash St. Scranton and are under the care and direction of Hank Sobolak, funeral director.
