Ruth Ann Pagnozzi

Ruth Ann Pagnozzi, 94, of Dunmore, died Thursday, June 11 at her home. She was the wife of the late Theodore (TAP) Pagnozzi.


Born in Dunmore, she was daughter of the late Edward and Sarah Donahue Wolff. She was a graduate of Dunmore High School and was employed by Capital Records for several years. She also volunteered for many years at St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen in Scranton as well as Meals on wheels. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Scranton.


Ruth was very active in her church, and she helped to organize the picnic every summer. She enjoyed having dinner and playing cards weekly with her friends. He main passion was going to family reunions and spending time with her loved ones and her dog, Eli.


Surviving is a daughter Sally McIntyre and her husband Joseph of Dunmore; a granddaughter Bridget McIntyre, Scranton; a grandson Joseph McIntyre Jr, Dunmore; a sister Loraine Thomas, Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers Walter, Edward, and Donald Wolff, and a sister Eleanor Anderson.


A private funeral service was held at Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton. A Mass for relatives and friends will be held at 10:30 on June 24 at the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Scranton.

Memorial in Ruth’s name maybe made to St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen, 500 Penn Ave. Scranton Pa. 18503.
