Gregory J. Pascale of Chicago, IL and formerly of Clarks Summit died Sunday.
Born in Scranton, son of Gregory and Maurita Kelly Pascale of Clarks Summit, he was a graduate of Abington Heights High School and the Pennsylvania State University Smeal College of Business.
Also surviving are his sisters Kelly Kapp (Jon), Alison, and Emily, his brothers Robert and Daniel, his Grandmother Alice Pascale and his niece and nephew Caroline and Charlie Kapp
He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Lois Kelly, and Grandfathers Paul Kelly and Joseph Pascale.
Gregory lived his life to the fullest in pursuit of joy and happiness. Greg had a gentle and kindhearted nature that left a positive impression on everyone he crossed paths with. He had an immense and witty sense of humor over which he shared deep laughs with friends and family alike. Greg was an independent thinker who had a unique perspective and insightful knowledge on many topics. In high school Greg was an honor roll student and an accomplished wrestler. After high school, Greg attended Penn State University, and joined Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He loved the time he spent with his fraternity brothers and all the other college friends he made there. A voracious lover of nature and the outdoors, he was constantly in search of great adventure and travel. In his successful career in corporate accounting, Greg spent his first three post-graduate years in Baltimore working for Textron Corporation. In September, in pursuit of a new challenge, Greg moved to Chicago to work for AAR Corp. Greg spent this last summer splitting time with his family at Bethany Beach and his friends in Sea Isle City, enjoying the best summer of his life surrounded by loved ones. A true friend and companion to everyone around him, Greg never took the people he cared about for granted and was not afraid to let people know how much they meant to him. Greg will be greatly missed, but the memories we had with him will remain forever in our hearts.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 1:00pm in Our Lady of Snows Church 301 S. State St. Clarks Summit, PA 18411. The Mass will be live-streamed and may be viewed on the Our Lady of the Snows Clarks Summit YouTube channel.

I am honored to have known Greg and watch him grow up. One memory that came to mind when
I thought of him is the boys were sleeping over and our power went out. We awoke in the night to bears in our yard. The boys came upstairs and Greg said he wanted to go home. Not surprising since it was a giant Mom with a cub.
We are so saddened by this terrible loss and hope that peace can be found for his family and friends.

I got to know Greg starting our freshman year of college at Penn State in 2014. My sorority and his fraternity became close friends that year. I can only remember him with a smile on his face, grinning ear to ear. He was friendly, social, positive and his loss wi be felt by many.

Greg, Maurita and Family,
The church service for Greg was beautiful. You guys were just starting your beautiful family, when I worked with Maurita at the JCC many, many years ago. Unfortunately, I never had the pleasure of knowing Greg, but have read and heard what a fine son, brother, uncle and friend he was. My condolences to the entire family and may time ease some of the pain. Cherish the memories and time you had with him.
