Marie Enkulenko of Scranton died Sunday morning following a brief illness. Her husband was the late George Enkulenko who died in 2021.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Biagio and Florence Grippo Maglioli, she was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and was of the Catholic faith. She had been employed by Bank of America.
Marie loved the beach, her favorite TV shows, shopping on Amazon but most of all spending time with her grandson.
Surviving are a son Geoff Enkulenko and his wife Jean Marie of Throop and a daughter Emily Enkulenko and her fiancé Peter Derenick of Springbrook Twp.; brothers Paul and AnthonyMaglioli; a sister Mina Siciliano; her beloved grandson Jacob Michael Enkulenko.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11am in the Immaculate Conception Church 801 Taylor Ave. Scranton.
Friends may call Saturday morning from 10am until the time of the Mass at the church.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the direction of the Vanston and James Funeral Home, Scranton.
