Brian Joseph Weller, Hamlin, passed away late Saturday night in the Allied Services Hospice Center after an illness.
Born August 11, 1962 in Scranton he was the son of Elizabeth “Claire” Rurant Weller of West Scranton and the late Gerald J Weller, Sr. He was a 1980 graduate of West Scranton High School and was of the Catholic faith. Brian was a self-employed contractor owning and operating the Brian J Weller remodeling company.
Also surviving are sisters Donna Gilroy and her husband Jack of West Scranton, Diane Healey and her husband Patrick of Philadelphia;brother Gerald J Weller, Jr and his wife Ann of Moosic; nieces and nephews Dominick Pellegrini, Shane and Kaitlyn Weller, Megan and Griffin Gilroy ; countless friends.
He was also preceded in death by a brother Douglas.
A blessing service will be held Thursday at 4 PM in the Vanston and James Funeral Home 1401 Ash St. Scranton.
Friends may call Thursday from 2 PM until the time of the blessing service in the funeral home.
Interment, private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers the family encourages memorial contributions be made to Allied Services Hospice Center 511 Morgan Highway Scranton PA 18508
