Rose Peiffley, Scranton, passed away late Wednesday night in the Geisinger Community Medical Center after an illness.
Born 1955 in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late William Egan and Ellen Williams Egan Kosloski and attended West Scranton High School and went on to earn an Associates Degree from Lackawanna College. Prior to her illness, Rose was employed as a manager of local convenient stores and also delivered The Times Tribune for many years.
She loved her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. She was a proud West Sider! Bleed Blue!
Surviving are her children Robert DePietro, Kimberly Ortiz and her husband Angel, Chris Combs and Ivor Rodney and his wife Becky; her husband Dan Peiffley; eight grandchildren; one great granddaughter; three great great grandchildren; two brothers Frank and Ed Kosloski; nieces and nephews; cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 6pm in the Vanston and James Funeral Home 1401 Ash St. Scranton
Friends may call Friday 4pm until time of the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of the Vanston and James Funeral Home, Scranton.
