Sandra. L. Coats, 76, of Scranton passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at Regional Hospital of Scranton surrounded by family and loved ones.
Sandy was greatly loved by so many; and she loved them, endlessly. Sandy was a beautiful person inside and out- she was kind, loving, funny and selfless. Sandy was the life of the party- always up to any adventure, especially road trips. She loved spending time with her godson, D’Andre, and her video chats with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren living out of state. Sandy loved and enjoyed life to the fullest and loved every moment spent with her son, Joey. Sandy will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Sandy was proceeded in death by her mother and father, as well as brothers William and Roman Molnar.
Surviving is a son, Joseph Schlesser, Scranton, a daughter, Bernadette Bidwell, Jessup, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and godchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Regional Hospital ICU for their exceptional care and compassion.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Saints Francis and Clare Parish, 98 Larch Street, Scranton, on Saturday, January 21 at Noon, the Reverend Father William A. Mentz, presiding.
Friends may call from 10AM until the start of the service. Interment to take place at a future date in Saint Mary Cemetery, Throop.
