William Frederick Igoe, II

William Igoe, ll, passed away Saturday at his home after many health issues. His loving wife of 28 years is the former Robin Powell.

Born 1957 in Scranton, he was the son of the late William F. Igoe Sr and H. Dorothy Jones Hoban. He was a graduate of the former Scranton Central high-school and he earned his license in real estate appraisal. Before retirement,  he was employed as a security guard at Prudential and was also well known for his time working at Peffers gym.

Bill was a devoted husband and father. He loved his family and always felt that being together was important. He loved having gatherings and enjoying each other’s company. He also enjoyed weightlifting,  which he won many awards.

Also surviving are his daughter,  Alexandra Igoe, his son Ronnie Bourne, grandson,  Milo Bourne; brother James Igoe and his wife Teresa; his sister Donna Igoe Kapp and her husband John; half-brother Kevin Igoe and wife Marissa; half-sister Erin Igoe Zuclich and husband Anthony; and half-sister Sherrie Bishop; nieces, Danielle Rozelle; Lindsay Rozelle Solderitz and husband Larry; Taylor and Maddy Igoe, and Chloe Zuclich.

He was also proceeded in death by his grandparents,  Harry and Helen Jones.

Baby, I will always love you. Till we meet again. 

Memorial  service  will be September 28th. Friends could come from 10:00 to 11:00 service at 11am in the Green Ridge Assembly of God Church 825 Greenridge Street Scranton, PA 18509.

    Bill was a great cousin. He will be greatly missed. We are all grateful that he doesn’t suffer anymore but it is a great loss for everyone he knew and loved and for those who loved him as well.

    I knew Big Billy when he was a trainer at Pro Fitness. Good guy. We had many conversations about training techniques and everyone enjoyed his company, Left us too soon.RIP Big Guy..
