John “Johnny” Revie, III passed away Wednesday afternoon in the Nazareth Hospital
Philadelphia.
Johnny was born April 4, 1981, in Susquehanna, PA., and was the son of John “Jack”
and Elaine Troisi Revie of Harford. Although Johnny’s chronological age is 43, he spent
a lifetime as “mischievous and loveable forever ‘Terrible Two!’” He was fortunate to
have two loving and caring families; his “born into” family and his St. Joseph’s Center
family.
His laugh, smile, hugs, and kisses were pure joy to all. He loved music. It is possible
that he watched every musical ever made; dancing, laughing and clapping along with
them all. He also loved to go shopping with his “mama,” sister, and very special friends
Jaime and Mary Ann.
Johnny’s family would like to thank the following staff and caregivers for their loving care
of Johnny and support of his family: St. Joseph’s Center, Hughestown Residential
Home, St. Joseph’s Center, Scranton, Wilkes-Barre Geisinger Hospital as well as Aristo
Care Long Term Care Center, Temple University Hospital, the Roxborough Hospital and
the Nazareth Hospital Hospice.
He is also survived by his beloved sister Jennifer Anne Revie of Binghamton, NY; his
grandmother Faye Revie of Jersey Shore; many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved
him very much.
He was preceded in death by his great grandmother Elsie Bower; his grandfather John
“Jack” Revie, Sr.; his aunt Anne Elizabeth Revie; also, his grandparents Robert and
Gloria Troisi and aunts Bonnie Troisi and Mary Troisi.
A celebration of Johnny’s life will be held Monday, November 25th at 11am in the
Chapel at St. Joseph’s Center, 2010 Adams Ave. Scranton
Friends may call on Monday from 10am until the time of the service.
Private interment and burial services will take place in the family plot in the Jersey
Shore Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions be made to St. Joseph’s
Center 2010 Adams Ave., Scranton, PA. 18509.
P.S. From your “Mama”
Johnny, enjoy your time with God in heaven. Do all the things you could not do
in this world – walk, talk, sing, run and play. You are normal now. You are FREE!
