Nancy A. Mack, 68, a resident at the Holy Family Residence, Scranton, PA, formerly of Atlanta, GA and Butler, PA. died Wednesday at the residence.
Born May 22, 1944 in Butler, PA she was the daughter of the late M. Earl and Mary Louise Frey Mack.
She was a graduate of St. Paul’s Elementary School and Butler High School, Butler, PA and received a certificate in Interior Design from Butler County Community College.
Upon graduation she was employed at Mack Jewelry Store and Furniture Galleries, Butler, Pennsylvania. She then relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where she was employed at the Kiddie Boutique, First Union Bank and finally at Compdent Corporation prior to retirement.
Nancy was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bridge. She was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Atlanta Braves.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Little Sisters of the Poor and the residents/staff of Holy Family Residence for their compassionate and loving care.
She is survived by sisters, Joyce Tressler and husband, Dave Clarks Summit, Marilyn Morabito, Potomac, MD, Jean Westerkamp and husband, Bill, North Bend, OH, Mimi Elwell and husband, David, Amalia Island, FL and brothers J. Robert and wife , Virginia, Westerville, OH, Richard and wife , Carole, Greensboro, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Residence 2500 Adams Avenue, Scranton, PA celebrated by her nephew, Monsignor David L. Tressler.
Friends may call Friday from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Holy Family Residence.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
