Mary-Beth Krogh-Jespersen, 66, of Scranton, passed away peacefully Friday, less than a year after being diagnosed with cancer.
Dr. Krogh-Jespersen served as Chancellor of Penn State Worthington Scranton, during the period from 2000 to 2015.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, three children, two grandchildren and her beloved cat.
Following the wishes of the family, the funeral has taken place in private.
