David A. Mikolon

David A. Mikolon, 60, of Throop, passed away Friday morning following an illness.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late David A. and Virginia Campbell – Mikolon. He was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. Prior to his illness, he was a sub – contractor.

David enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening, and golfing.

Surviving are his daughters Abigail Mikolon and her fiancé Michael Hadid of Martinez, GA, and Annie Kulick and her husband Sean of Hazleton; a sister Andrea Davis of Throop; brothers Michael Mikolon of Nicholson, Gary Mikolon and Donna Ettinger of Scranton, and Brian Campbell and his wife Natalie of Scranton; grandchildren Benjamin, Liam, and Gabriel; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother Francis Burke.

A Memorial Gathering for friends and family will be held on Friday, July 29th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at the VFW Post 25, 2291 Rockwell Ave, Scranton.

A Blessing Service will be celebrated on Saturday, July 30th at 9:30am in the Immaculate Conception Church, 801 Taylor Ave, Scranton.

Inurnment, Saturday, July 30th at 10:15am in Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
